We are starting a series at The NADP called, “5 Things Every Divorce Professional Needs to Know.” While the topics will vary, the messaging is the same…this will be information you can benefit from.

We are looking for new and original content on the following subjects. If you wish to contribute, please feel free to reach out to Ilyssa Panitz at: [email protected] so we can go over the details.

Here are the following topics up for grabs:

Why are we seeing a sharp increase in gray divorces? What are 5 things every professional need to know about planning and protecting your client for a gray divorce?

What if a parent uses/takes cannabis? It is legal in over 20-states. What are 5 things every divorce professional needs to know about cannabis use when it comes to divorce and child custody?

Sadly, there are many children with special needs (examples: handicapped, ADD, mental illness, medical disease) What are 5 things every divorce professional needs to know about handling a divorce case for a couple who have special needs loved one?

Do you have an idea for an article for us? Reach out and let’s discuss!

How about… “If you’re contemplating filing for divorce, here are the 5 things you should do to prepare financially…” or “to get your finances in order” … something along those lines.

If targeting divorce professionals…. “Here are the 5 things your new divorce client should address when it comes to their finances..”

Hey Paul! That’s a great idea for consumer-driven publications…but we are doing articles directed at the divorce professional and what THEY need to know in order to help their clients through it.

Hey Paul, My daily column and radio show is better for this topic. Email me and let’s discuss. For The NADP site, what about educating professionals on “QDROs” I feel there are so many who can’t explain clearly to their clients and this is such a piece of the divorce process.
