| Biography | Being a Realtor is my passion. Having spent over 30 years in communications and sales working for AT&T. Negotiating as a union member and leader with the Communication Workers of America (CWA). My title as job steward, I negotiated with the company on behalf of their employees for wages, discipline, etc. when I retired from AT&T, my goal was to take the knowledge, experience, expertise and skill set I had mastered over the years and transform that into real estate. For many, all-real estate agents are alike. For that reason, it became apparent to me that I needed to find a way to set myself apart. Over the past 20 years I have been able to do just that by focusing on people who find themselves in the unsettling position of navigating the divorce process or foreclosure procedures. My background as a negotiator has provided me with unique insight into the foreclosure process. Negotiation with lenders on my clients’ behalf, and through collaboration with attorneys, divorce coaches, financial analysts, systems and extensive training into the divorce process. Divorce can be emotional with many triggers. The stress that comes with any life change can be magnified in divorce. Buying or selling a home for many can be very stressful. If you add to that the life changing challenge of divorce or pending foreclosure those home buying or selling stressors become even more intense. My job and promise is to use my expertise to help you navigate the process, represent you (and often times your spouse as well) to the best of my ability, and be the calming voice of reason in the middle of the storm earning your trust as you buy/sell your biggest asset. I have lived in many areas of Columbia SC since 1976 and know and love the areas well. I have two daughters that attended Richland County Schools, and are now beautiful young women raising families of their own. This is home.
