I spend time on HARO and Qwoted so you don’t have to!
Each day, I go through a long report of requests from reporters from across the country and around the globe that are looking for experts for commentary and/or to be featured in an article, podcast, or story. We want NADP members to be quoted in the media as the experts we know you to be.
Here is how this works (and if you like it I will do this regularly). I have broken this down by category, so you can scroll through it to find yours. I have them in this order: Legal, Finance, Mental Health, and Real Estate. You will find a one-sentence summary of what they are writing the article about, followed by the reporter’s contact information through Haro or Qwoted. If you want to respond to a “query” (another name for a request for content), click on the link to the email. The query below their contact information will give you a detailed description of what they are looking for, followed by the qualifications you must have to be considered. Should you be interested, please send them your NADP profile in your contact information. . In the subject line of your email to the reporter, copy and paste their summary sentence and the word HARO or Qwoted response.
One thing you need to know…time is of the essence, so if you feel compelled to comment on a particular story DO IT TODAY. Time is not on your side here. These reporters are looking for a quick turnaround. The early bird gets the worm!

ONE: “Selling Sunset” star Amanza Smith has been granted sole legal and physical custody of her two children daughter Noah and son Braker she shares with ex-husband Ralph Brown, who allegedly has not seen the kids since 2019. I want to interview a CA based lawyer (since that is where this case is) – – is it normal for a parent to win this kind of ruling? What factors contribute to a Judge signing off on this and is Brown still responsible for child support.
TWO: Charlie Sheen appears to have scored a major victory against his ex-wife Denise Richards. A court ruled that Sheen doesn’t have to pay child support for the two girls he shares with Richards because the couple’s daughters are now living with the award-winning actor. Back in December 2019, Sheen put in a request with the court to modify the agreement and the ruling, in Sheen’s favor just came today. I want a California based lawyer to explain: how one proves this to get a monthly obligation like this reversed, is this ruling permanent, when does it go into effect, can Denise appeal, can Denise fight for back support she may have not received?
Another Domestic Violence incident is making news.
Hence why this is a conversation we need to continue having and why I need an expert for a fast turnaround for my column:
On Saturday, October 2nd former NASCAR driver John Wes Townley allegedly went to his ex-wife Laura’s Georgia home with an ax and attacked her.
This domestic violence incident reportedly comes days after the couple’s divorce was finalized.
Townley, who retired from racing professionally in 2017, was shot dead. Laura is in the hospital and expected to make a full recovery.
