As children with special needs transition to the teen and young adult years, their needs change significantly. Learn how to prepare for a successful transition to independence, and steps to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Speaker Bio:
Allison Schaberg has spent more than 30 years in the insurance and financial services industry. Allison is the Owner and Managing Partner of Consolidated Planning Group (CPG), a holistic financial planning firm specializing in advisory and consulting services for Special Needs families. CPG is domiciled in Texas and serves clients throughout the U.S.
Consolidated Planning Group provides tailored financial plans, future care cost estimates, and social security analysis. CPG helps families maintain eligibility for state and federally funded programs and answers questions like “How much do I need to fund the Special Needs Trust?” and “Who will care for my child after I am gone?” Families depend on CPG to provide the necessary guidance required to help their family make critical decisions impacting them now and into the next generation.
Allison is nationally certified as a Social Security Advisor, a member of the Special Needs Planning Academy, 2021 Alum of Texas Partners in Policymaking, and holds Series 7, 63, 65, 6, 24, 26, Life, Accident, and Health licenses.
Chapter Meeting
Chapter meetings occur monthly and are facilitated by the chapter leadership. In addition to networking and building relationships, each member has the opportunity to present an NADP Ed Talk and provide valuable divorce-specific education to their fellow chapter members.
