Speaker Bios:
Hope Lutz Firsel
Hope Lutz Firsel is a divorce coach for women. In addition to having her master’s degree from The London School of Economics in Organizational Behavior, a degree as a life coach from iPec, with additional training in Rapid therapy, and a Certified Divorced Specialist, Hope offers wisdom from overcoming her own personal traumas. She provides both private and group coaching, via zoom or in person, with an approach that is a blend from the strongest philosophies from both eastern and western cultures. In her sessions, she empowers her clients to determine the right plan for how they are going to move through and post-divorce most effectively. She believes that you can overcome anything, you just need a plan and a little Hope.
Barbara Bennett
Barbara Bennett is a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Florida, New York and Connecticut. She incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, EMDR and Gestalt Therapy techniques into her work. However, IFS Therapy is the model that she gravitates towards while facilitating her Divorce Recovery Groups, formerly in CT, then at the 92nd street Y in NYC and now in Fl. Since 2003, Barbara has been studying, teaching and practicing IFS therapy. She has held teaching and leadership positions in the marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Degree program at Central Connecticut State University, Hartford Family institute’s Gestalt therapy therapist training program and NYU medical school, supervising psychiatric residents in Family therapy. Barbara works with couples , individuals , and families in her private practice and runs Divorce Recovery Groups as well as Grief retreats for both men and women.
